There are a number of signs to look for if you suspect that your child is experiencing cyber bullying:
- Decrease in school functioning
- Absenteeism / refusal to go to school
- Takes a long, “illogical” route when walking to or from school;
- Tense, tearful, unhappy before and after school
- Damage or loss of personal belonging
- Complains frequently of headaches, stomachaches, or other physical ailments
- Appears anxious and suffers from a low self esteem
- Withdrawn
- Significant change in weight – both increase and decrease
